Annual Grade Tournament for Members
The Annual Grade Tournament is conducted by the association for its members. It is a chance to play doubles and/or singles against graded players who are often involved in current competitions.
It is generally run around September/October each year and in the evenings culminating in semi-finals and finals on the night depending on number of registered players. It is a great relaxed social (and a bit competitive!) event for all those involved.
All members are encouraged to join in this fun club event. Annual Grade is predominately an adult tournament, though we will consider your entry based on age and standard. Please email tennis@northwestsydneytennis.com.au of your interest.
2024 Annual Grade Championships
Events, dates & format
Ladies Doubles - Monday, 30 September from 7.30pm
Mixed Doubles - Wednesday, 2 October from 7.30pm
Men's Doubles - Thursday, 3 October from 7.30pm
Singles - Friday, 4 October from 7.30pm and Saturday 5 October from 9am - Knock out event. First round commences on Friday evening, winner/s continuing play on Saturday morning.
Format: Doubles - 8 game sets round robin
Singles - 1 x set, first to 9 games knockout. Tiebreak at 8 games each.
- Semi Final and Grand Final Saturday morning
- Grand Final - 2 x normal set match. One set all, super tiebreaker 10 points.
Event Fee: Doubles $20 Singles $25
Winners are awarded with perpetual acknowledgement on our member honour boards - in gold!
